VILLAGERS can shop at a new convenience store that was officially opened by an Oxfordshire MP.
Sainsbury’s Local has opened in Upper Heyford near Bicester.
Banbury and Bicester MP Victoria Prentis cut the ribbon on Friday before the store’s first customers browsed the new aisles.

Fifteen jobs have been created and the4,500 sq ft shop on Camp Road is open from 7am to 11pm Monday to Sunday.
Ms Prentis, said: “Today marks a major milestone in the development of Heyford Park.
“This is a growing community and it’s wonderful to see the village get the investment and services it needs to thrive.”
Carla Browning, Sainsbury’s Upper Heyford Local store manager, said: “Our aim is to provide great quality and value alongside friendly service and the team is really look forwarding to meeting our customers.”
