Fire crews from Bicester Fire Station worked to clear the spillage of hydraulic oil after a mechanical defect in a tractor caused it to leak all over the road between Somerton and Upper Heyford just after 4pm.

Thames Valley Police closed the road whilst the oil spillage was cleared using sand supplied by the farmer and absorbent granules.
Oxfordshire County Council Highways took over the incident and dealt with the resulting clear up to reopen the road.
