FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with a blaze in the basement of the closed Levi store in Queen Street, Oxford.
The shop had been shut following a flood and water had seeped into an electrical unit.
Fire crews were alerted just before 1pm yesterday after shoppers reported seeing smoke coming from the premises. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus tackled the flames.
No one was hurt in the incident and the fire was contained. Queen Street remained open during the incident.
