A MAN was punched in the face multiple times in Oxford.
The assault happened sometime between 6.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday when the victim, a man in his forties was cycling along High Street near the junction to Queens Street when he was approached by a man and assaulted.
The offender, who was driving a large dark coloured Volkswagen car, got out of his vehicle and then punched the man in the face multiple times.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his face but did not require any hospital treatment.

The offender is described as a white man in his sixties with grey hair and about 5ft 8in tall. He was wearing a shirt and jeans.
Investigating officer PC Ffion Mount, based at Cowley police station said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have any information to please get in touch.
