BORIS JOHNSON has addressed MPs in Parliament ahead of his speech to the nation this evening.
He announced new measures of pubs curfews at 10pm and retail staff wearing masks.
He said he 'wished' he could reassure the MPs that the situation was getting better and that those infected had the anitbodies, but said the relaity was that 'fewer than 8 percent' of poeple are in this position.
In said int he last fortnight daily hospital admissions in Enlgand have more than doubled.
Adding: "They will continue to gorw unles we act. This is the moment we must act."
He said schools, colleges and univeristies will stay open.
Office workers should work from home if they can.
People should go to work if they cannot work from home. Workplaces should be covid-secure.
On Thursday all pubs, bars and restuarants MUST offer table service only.
Hospitality venues will have to close at 10pm.
Venues must not call for last orders at 10pm but should be closing.
Retail workers must now wear masks in shops.
Shops could be CLOSED if they do not follow the rules.
On Monday, weddings can only have 15 guests.
Those who break the rule of six or not wear a mask will now face a £200 fine.
