AN OXFORD University college dean has been slapped with a fine after breaking lockdown rules.
On April 10, Daria Jensen, of Mansfield College, was caught sitting in a group of six people in a park along the river in Meadow Lane drinking and socialising.
The 29-year-old, who is German, is a junior assistant dean at the college – a paid role that includes looking after students and enforcing the rules.

At Oxford Magistrates Court on August 21 she admitted the charge of participating in a public gathering of more than two people during the coronavirus emergency period.
As a result, she was fined £60 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32.

The university has even admitted that the students are behind a ‘small but growing’ number of coronavirus cases in the city.
Oxford University students have not started the new term yet and are expected back in the first week of October.
In 2017 there were 23,975 students at Oxford University.
Oxford University and Mansfield College have been asked what they will do to ensure that students do not break the current social distancing rules when they return.
