If many of us were struck down with cancer, it would feel like the end of the world.
But not eight-year-old Bethany Povey.
Despite undergoing months of painful chemotherapy, losing her hair and being separated from her family, she has kept smiling, and even bounced on her hospital bed and cartwheeled down the ward.
What an example to us all. She well deserves her Little Star award from Cancer Research UK for being a plucky and outstanding patient.
