House prices in Oxford dropped more than average for the South East in May, new figures show.
The average Oxford house price in May was £391,773, Land Registry figures show – a 1.6 per cent decrease on April.
Owners of detached houses fared worst in Oxford in May.

Detached houses dropped 2.0 per cent in price, to £780,831 on average. Over the last year, prices dropped by 1.4 per cent.
The best annual growth in the region was in West Oxfordshire where properties increased on average by 9.4 per cent, to £347,000.
