A MOTORCYCLIST and his woman passenger suffered fractured pelvises after a crash involving their motorcycle and a white transit van.
The accident took place at 9.10am today in Station Road, Grove, near Wantage, at the junction with Oxford Lane.
Police said the motorcycle was travelling out of Grove towards Oxford, when the collision occured.
A witness, who asked not to be named, described the collision as "as one hell of a bang".
A white transit van parked near the scene of the crash did not appear to be damaged.
Police cordoned off the stretch of road for several hours until accident investigators arrived at the scene.
Paramedics took both riders to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
