People in Bicester will gather tomorrow nightfor the illuminating Cycle of Time event, to say farewell to the county millennium celebrations.
The event will begin with a procession by schoolchildren through the town and Bicester Village to Pingle Field, carrying panels inspired by the Bayeux tapestry.
They will be joined by stilt walkers, fire eaters and jugglers.
The show culminates with a pyrotechnic journey through the town's history.
Miranda Markham, spokesman for Bicester Village which is one of the event sponsors, said: "We're delighted to be part of the closing events for this amazing year celebrating 1,000 years of the county."
The display is one of a series of events in Oxford, Abingdon, Bicester, Chipping Norton and Henley designed to mark the end of Oxfordshire's millennium year celebrations. The procession starts at 5.30pm.
