A FOLK festival held at Thame Showground last year has gone online for a 'home-made' feel due to Covid restrictions.
The Towersey Festival has taken place every August Bank Holiday since 1965, with visitors flocking in their thousands to Thame Showground for last year's event.
Because of the government restrictions put in place since the start of the coronavirus lockdown, the festival had been set for cancellation this year.

But a 'Home-Made Towersey' was held last weekend instead, with a video playlist of concerts, activities and other events uploaded to YouTube for viewers to dip in and out of.
In an email newsletter to festival goers, Towersey Festival's team thanked everyone who had watched the videos and made an appeal to help continue funding the event.
It said: "The response to Home-Made Towersey and our Crowdfunder has been absolutely amazing. A huge thank-you to everyone that has supported us throughout this challenging year."
The festival organisers said they still had 'quite a way to go' to reach their £120,000 fundraising goal, and appealed for donations from dedicated revellers.
