A MAN was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill during a ‘large altercation’ at Redbridge Hollow traveller site.
Thames Valley Police was called to the site off Abingdon Road, in Oxford, shortly before 9.50pm on Tuesday evening, with a police helicopter also in attendance, according to one resident.
The man, aged 38 from Oxford, was also suspected of being in possession of an offensive weapon.

He was still in police custody as of yesterday afternoon.
Nobody was injured during the incident, but a police presence remained in the area throughout the night as officers continued their investigation.
There were still two cars at the site entrance when the Oxford Mail visited early yesterday morning.
It comes after officers attended Redbridge Hollow in July following reports of a fight at the site.
Video footage showed several stationary police vehicles, with one witness spotting 'at least 25 police vehicles, dog vans and armed officers'.
