THE crew of a bomber who died in a crash, have been remembered by personnel at RAF Brize Norton.
In August 1944, Albermarle V1782 overshot the runway at Brize Norton, and crashed in a field in Mill Farm, Black Bourton.
Station Commander Emily Flynn and Station Warrant Officer Brian Kayll laid a wreath at Mill Farm on Thursday to commemorate the lives of the five crew members.

Group Captain Flynn said: “It is an honour to be here as we mark the anniversary of the tragic events of when five young men lost their lives.
“It is important that we continue to remember the sacrifices of all the men and women who have lost their lives serving their country.”
