Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service has struggled to get to emergencies quickly due to bad car parking in the city.
The team at Rewley Road Fire Station in Oxford posted on Facebook that it was held up trying to manoeuvre its fire engine through city streets on Saturday evening.

It said: "Please be considerate when parking and consider how the emergency services would get to your address in an emergency.
"Yesterday evening we were held up significantly trying to negotiate Western Road, Buckingham Street and Marlborough Road."
It says it appreciates how difficult it is to park in Oxford but residents can try to park in a better way.
Tips include:
- Never park on double yellows
- Never double park
- Park as close to the kerb as possible
- Straighten front wheels and consider wing mirrors
