Two people have been charged and two others arrested in connection with burglaries in north and west Oxfordshire.
Three people were arrested shortly after an attempted burglary in Park Close, Kirtlington, at about 11.45am on Friday.
An 18-year-old man was charged with attempted burglary and a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were arrested and bailed.
Stolen property taken during a burglary in Stonesfield Lane, Charlbury, at lunchtime on Monday, November 19, was recovered from a vehicle at the time of their arrest.
A 19-year-old man was later charged with handling stolen goods.
Det Sgt Matthew Bick said: "This was a joint investigation between Cherwell and West Oxfordshire police teams. It has not only led to a number of charges and arrests, but also to the recovery of a substantial amount of stolen property. We are also investigating whether these people are linked to other burglaries.
"This is indicative of the hard work our officers are doing to clamp down on burglary - domestic burglaries are down 20 per cent this year in Cherwell.
"But we also need the public's help if we are to beat the burglar.
"I would like to remind residents they need to make sure their properties are as secure as possible."
