A NEW 1920s style cocktail bar could be opening in November.
A planning application has been submitted to turn a Grade II-listed building at 45 St Mary’s Street, Wallingford, into a drinking establishment.
Jack Linaker submitted the planing application and he envisions the bar to be called Soiree, have a relaxed jazz vibe and be in 1920s style serving tapas.

The building dates to 1850 and it has historically been used as a shop. It was last used as a shop by tenant Rides on Air which vacated the property in August 2011.
Mr Linaker said: "We are looking at doing a bit of regeneration in the area by making something people will want.”
