FIREFIGHTERS raced to the river this morning after a boat caught fire.
Three fire engines from Faringdon, Burford and Fairford were sent to the scene in Eaton Hastings, near Faringdon, after a 999 call.
When they arrived they set up hose lines to wash away the flames and prevent any spread of the fire to nearby boats.
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service also joined the crews.

More photos, shared on the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Facebook page show the boat completely ruined by the fire.
It is not yet known if anybody was injured or how the fire started.
Station manager and incident commander Paul Webster said: "The boat was well alight when we arrived, and the crews worked really well to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring boats”.
