AN OXFORD doctor is part of a major new study investigating coronavirus risks for Black, Asian and minority ethnic healthcare staff.
Dr Amit Gupta, clinical lead in the neonatal intensive care unit at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH), is one of the co-investigators in the £2.1m study.

It will work with more than 30,000 clinical and non-clinical members of staff to assess their risk of Covid-19, based on the analysis of two million healthcare records.
It comes after an investigation of almost 10,000 OUH staff, which includes the John Radcliffe Hospital, found Black and Asian employees were twice as likely to get the virus as their white colleagues.
