Oxford turned on the style to brush aside local rivals Mid Oxon 5-0 in the English Schools' FA Under 15 Trophy third round at Carterton FC.
The visitors dominated from the start with Kynan Issac driving down the left and crossing for Conor McDonagh to open the scoring after only four minutes.
Oxford increased their lead five minutes later when Issac headed in Conor Hunt's floated free-kick.
The third goal was a 25-yard cracker from right winger Ryan Simpson, who buried the ball in the top left-hand corner with the outside of his right boot.
Playing excellent passing football, Oxford went 4-0 up just before half-time when Simpson flicked on Hunt's corner and Marley Joseph stabbed home.
Mid Oxon came out battling in the second half, and Oxford were restricted to one further strike in the 67th minute when captain Matt Willett powered in a far post header from another Hunt corner.
Hopes of another Oxfordshire derby in the fourth round were dashed when Banbury & District went down 3-1 at home to Slough, who now visit Oxford.
Banbury opened the scoring in the tie at Bicester Community College through Jordan Ayris - thanks to a massive goalkeeping error similar to Paul Robinson's famous miss kick against Croatia.
But Slough then struck twice to lead at the break.
More poor defending saw Slough go further ahead after the break.
Daniel Buckley missed a couple of half chances and Dan Welling squandered two great opportunities as Banbury bowed out.
