It is with a wry smile that I read of Olive McIntosh-Stedman's conviction for benefit fraud (Oxford Mail, November 23).
Could this be the same Olive McIntosh-Stedman who has written so many letters and featured in your news pages in the past that she might as well have her own daily column?
She regularly lectures us mere mortals on, among other things, the importance of paying our council tax on time, what we get for our council tax, the importance of not parking outside school gates and keeping our gardens in top shape.
I notice also that her contributions to the Oxford Mail have suddenly dried up. Is this a coincidence?
What do they say about people in glasshouses?
