UPDATE: Police say both groups have now moved on
CARAVANS have set up camp at an Oxford playground.
An Oxford Mail photographer snapped at least three caravans and several other vehicles beside a basketball court of New Hinksey Playground, off Bertie Place, on Thursday.

Thames Valley Police has been contacted for more information.
It comes after more than a dozen caravans were also seen at King Alfred's School playing fields in Wantage.
Oxfordshire's deputy police and crime commissioner Matt Barber posted on social media yesterday afternoon that a third encampment in Minster Lovell, in West Oxfordshire, had been moved on by police.
He added: "Just highlights the need for new powers, and I will continue to lobby for changes to the law."
