UPDATE: Police say the group has now moved on
Travellers have pitched up at a school playing field in Wantage.
Approximately 15 caravans and vans are believed to have arrived midday on Wednesday on the King Alfred's School field, near Wantage leisure centre.
A resident, who took pictures of the caravans, said: "They have occupied the whole cricket pitch.

"There were about twice as many vehicles this morning, but looks like that’s because the men have taken off in the vans and will be back later."
They added: "The Sixth Form College for King Alfreds is on the left hand side of the playing field in these photos."
The resident said police had attended and that is was not the first time caravans have arrived there.
