HEALTH workers from the county are set to gather in Oxford to demand a pay rise.
The city centre protest, at 2pm in Bonn Square, is one of 30 gatherings across the UK tomorrow following the Government decision to exclude the majority of NHS workers from their announcement of wage increases for 900,000 public sector workers.

Health workers are in the final year of a three-year deal and due a pay rise next April, but unions want the Government to show its appreciation for NHS staff by bringing it forward to this year.
Oxford protesters are also calling for the extension of the London weighting allowance for NHS staff in the city.
