A bus driver has been reported for careless driving following an accident involving an Oxford Bus Company vehicle and two cars.
The accident happened at 8.40am today, at the junction of of London Road and Stile Road in Headington. The cars involved were a black Honda Accord estate and a green Honda 4x4 vehicle. A woman driving the Accord suffered minor injuries, thought to be whiplash.
The road was blocked for about 25 minutes.
Louisa Weeks, director and general manager of the Oxford Bus Company, said: "Just after 8.30 this morning one of our buses was involved in an accident with two cars on London Road.
"We are working closely with the police to establish the cause of the accident. We understand that there were no serious injuries."
Careless driving is not an arrestable offence. Police reported the man, who has not been named, and he will be summonsed to court to face the charge.
