MORE vehicles will be produced in the next 25 years than in the history of the motor industry, according to an Oxford Brookes University study.
An estimated 3.65bn tonnes of vehicle scrap will be created worldwide between now and 2030, enough to fill more than 1,000 Wembley Stadiums, according to researchers.
The dramatic increase is attributed to a number of factors, including world population growth and affordability.
