POLICE officers have been granted more time to question a 15-year-old in connection with the Thame murder.
On Wednesday night a 19-year-old man was found with fatal injuries on Chinnor Road in Thame just after 7pm.
Earlier that evening Thame Fire Station had said they were at the scene of a major road traffic collison and eye-witnesses said they saw a car on its roof.
Residents nearby were also locked down and police cordons have prevented anybody from driving in the area.
That night police arrested a 15-year-old boy, from Oxfordshire, on suspicion of murder and investigators from Thames Valley Police's Major Crime Unit have now been granted another 36 hours to question him after an application to High Wycombe Magistrates Court.
When somebody is arrested police usually have 24 hours to question them before releasing them or charging them but with a serious crime, like murder, officers can apply to the Magistrates Court for more time to detain them.
Two 19-year-old men, from Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, also remain in custody and are being questioned on suspicion of murder.
The arrests are in connection with the death of a 19-year-old man from Oxfordshire who was found with injuries in Chinnor Road, Thame, shortly after 7pm on Wednesday.
Anyone with any information on the incident are urged to call 101, quoting URN 1152 (22/7).
