What are the rules?
From tomorrow, masks and coverings wil be mandatory in shops to help slow the spread of coronavirus.
This morning Tory cabinet minister also cleared up confusion about the rules - saying that customers would also need to wear them in places like Pret and McDonald's.
Masks are already mandatory on public transport and commuters caught without a mask on could also be fined £100.
Last month, Oxford bus passengers hit-out at drivers not enforcing the new rules after spotting some poeple getting on board without being covered up.
Others said the rules were being outright ignored on public transport around the city.

We also asked our readers what they thought about the rules and nearly 900 people had their say.
Shop keepers also weighed in on the debate - most of them hoping it would make customers feel safer shopping.
But why is it so important to wear a mask?
One council has now urged people to think about the planet when making and using PPE.
