FOR the first time Heyford Park, near Bicester, is holding its own Christmas lights switch on.
On Saturday, the winner of the Heyford Park At Christmas drawing competition will be invited to switch on the lights at 6pm.
The former US air base will be holding its own version of ITV's X-Factor, organised by Heyford Park Residents' Association, in partnership with Jingles Entertainment.
There will be three judges giving their comments after each act and three groups of different acts taking part.
The competition is for all age groups.
The overall winner will receive a trophy and certificate, the winners from each category will receive a medal and certificate each and all acts will receive a certificate for taking part.
Throughout the day there will be a number of stalls, a Santa's grotto, a carol concert by local singers, children's games and a fairground.
