CRIMINAL damage, vandalism and graffiti are the top concerns for people living in a Banbury estate, according to a new survey.
Residents in the Ruscote, Hardwick, and Neithrop areas were also concerned about groups of youths loitering in public places and litter.
Officers quizzed 1,000 local people during the door-to-door and telephone-based survey across six weeks in September and October.
And this week they said the survey revealed more than 60 per cent of people were satisfied with the level of neighbourhood patrols.
Some 74 per cent said the neighbourhood team did either a good or very good job and 42 per cent said they knew a least one local beat bobby.
But almost 14 per cent were either dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the level of patrols and seven per cent thought the team did a poor or very poor job.
Sgt Rory Freeman, who leads the team, said: "While these survey results are pleasing and we are encouraged by local people's responses, we are not there yet.
"This is still very much a work in progress and we need to get these recognition and satisfaction figures up even higher and my team and I are committed to doing more.
"We also want to encourage the public to continuing giving us feedback and letting us know what they think are the problems they want dealt with."
The neighbourhood action group will now aim to tackle the issues identified in the survey as a priority.
