ROGUE traders targetting elderly residents conned a man out of £175.
The scammers charged the pensioner, who lives in Carterton, for cleaning his gutters but the work was never carried out.
They then asked the man for £4,000 for work on his roof but he declined as he knew there was nothing wrong with it.
