A THIEF who stole more than £1,000 worth of luxury skincare from Boots has been fined £50.
Scott Weddell, 41, of no fixed abode, admitted going into Boots on Cornmarket Street and stealing:
- £312 worth of perfume on January 16
- £148 worth of perfume on January 18
- £468 worth of Clarins make up on February 19
- £598 worth of Clarins make up on February 25

He also admitted to not attending supervision meetings, a requirement after leaving prison, on November 28, December 6, December 13 and January 16 – and having no reasonable excuse.
At Oxford Magistrates Court on April 20, he was fined £50 and ordered to pay back £1,526 in compensation.
He was also made subject to a community order and must have treatment at Turning Point for six months for his drug problem.
