A MAN has been charged in connection with an incident of public disorder at Redbridge Hollow traveller site in Oxford.
Michael Gerard Joyce, 30, of Redbridge Hollow, Oxford, was charged yesterday with one count of assault by beating, two counts of criminal damage, two counts of threats to commit criminal damage and one count of making threats to kill.
The charges relate to the incident at around 9pm on Tuesday when officers were called to reports of a fight at the site.

Video footage, sent in to the Oxford Mail, shows a number of stationary police vehicles, including cars and vans, with blue flashing lights.
One witness said they saw 'at least 25 police vehicles, dog vans and armed officers'.
They added that police helicopters were out most of the night, until at least 3am.
He will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
