ROBBERS armed with a shotgun and a machete stole about £2,000 from a bookmakers in Oxford.
Police said two men entered Ladbrokes in Blackbird Leys Road and threatened staff.
One was carrying a machete and the other was armed with what is believed to be a shotgun.
The raid happened at about 8.30pm last night.
The men were both white and were wearing balaclavas. One was also wearing a fluorescent jacket.
Det Con Steve Clarke said: "This robbery has left the staff shocked and upset, although fortunately no one was injured. I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anyone acting suspiciously or who has any information about the incident."
