A rescue helicopter was called out after a glider with two people onboard crashed after take off.
The air ambulance crew were joined by firefighters - who were called to free one of those involved in the crash at Swindon Glider Club, in Shrivenham, south Oxfordshire, at around 2.45pm yesterday.
The man was airlifted by the air ambuance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he was treated for leg injuries.
