RESIDENTS in north Oxfordshire have been making sure their recyclable waste is separated more over the past two months.
Cherwell District Council's latest recycling stats show that contamination in the blue recycling bin dropped by 25 tonnes between May and June.

There was 2,266 tonnes more waste collected overall compared to the same period in 2019, equivalent to 230 bin lorries’ worth.
Glass recycling was 419 tonnes up while brown bin food and garden waste was 802 tonnes up.
