OXFORD Union members have voted in favour of allowing BNP leader Nick Griffin and Holocaust denier David Irving to attend its Free Speech Forum.
More than a thousand union members backed a motion to support invitations made to the controversial figures.
The motion was carried by 1,062 votes to 640 at a vote last night.
Union press officer Charlie Holt said he believed a demonstration against the two invited would be staged outside the forum, which will be held at the union's base in Frewin Court, St Michael's Street, from 8pm on Monday.
