A SPORTS club has welcomed back its members for socially-distanced tennis after being shut since March.
Wantage Tennis Club is now up and running as the sport is one of the very few that allows two-metre distancing.
The club, which is located in the Memorial Park off Manor Road, is welcoming eager players – both children and adults –who are interested in using the facilities.

Chairman Mark Rowe, who announced the reopening earlier this month, said: "Whilst our aim is for everyone to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere, we have spent a considerable amount of time and effort on our Covid-19 risk assessments and playing protocols to ensure risks are minimised for everyone.
"We are very much open for business, giving a great opportunity for people to keep fit and have fun."
The club has also introduced the option of 'pay and play' for £6 an hour.
