A MAN who raped a teenager after a drinking session with friends has been jailed for four years and six months.
Paul Preedy, who admitted a charge of rape, said he knew the 19-year-old did not want to have sex with him but told police "The devil got into me".
Oxford Crown Court heard that 34-year-old Preedy, of The Crescent, Steeple Aston, attacked her after she went to bed on September 18.
Jennifer Edwards, prosecuting, said the woman tried to push him away and told him to leave but he told her 'you scream and I'll kill you'."
Ms Edwards added: "He told her 'you deserve what you get, you're loving it.'"
The woman eventually managed to escape and the police were called.
Nigel Daly, defending, said: "He found himself unable to control his emotions. He said 'the devil got into me that night'."
Jailing him, Judge Julian Hall told Preedy: "The effect on your victim has been disastrous."
