Coffee chain Pret A Manger is set to close around 30 of its 410 UK shops.
It has been widely reported that the high-street giant, which has several stores in Oxfordshire, is set to make job cuts amid the lower footfall post-pandemic.
The company this morning said the impact of coronavirus on trading meant it had to make a 'difficult decision'.

Pret A Manger stores in Oxford:
- Cornmarket Street
- Westgate Centre (temporarily closed)
- John Radcliffe Hospital
There is also a branch at Bicester Village.
It is not yet known whether any Oxfordshire branches will be affected.
