I came to Bicester as an 11-year-old in 1969.
We lived in Churchill Road and my dad taught at Bicester School.
It saddens me to learn that the gliding club is finally leaving Bicester Heritage.
The aircraft have been a familiar sight in the skies over Bicester, seeing them being towed up into the space above, the cable released, then left floating on the air currents.
Thank you Bicester Gliding Club for those wonderful moments.
How can Bicester Heritage let part of our heritage die?
Yours faithfully
