Sarah Collins of Headington and her husband Graham first spotted the startling albino sparrow in their garden a few weeks ago.
They then saw it being fed on several occasions by one of its parents, and realised it was just a baby still discovering the world.
Mrs Collins started sharing her photos online and they were an instant hit.
She said: "We have seen it frequently everyday in our garden which is encouraging because its chances are rather slim as it is so obvious to predators."
Curiously, the couple had another albino sparrow in their garden three years ago, and now wonder if is a genetic trait in the local population.
