SAFETY fears have been raised about zebra crossing markings being removed at Cowley's retail park.

A resident, who did not want to be named, said improvements to Templars Shopping Park's car park had included the covering of the black and white crossing from Between Towns Road to the shops near Pure Gym.
He said: "It's been like this for weeks now. The posts are still present with the yellow bowls on.
"The public are still crossing as if it's still a black and white crossing but drivers are not aware, especially the new customers visiting."
The man added there was also problems with motorists ignoring new signs when driving in the car park.

Oxfordshire County Council said as the road was part of the retail park it did not fall within its responsibility.
Templars was contacted via property company Savills but did not respond.
