District nurse Tricia Thomas has won the star prize in an all-staff Oxford Health Charity draw – an overnight stay at celebrity chef Raymond Blanc’s luxury Oxfordshire hotel and dinner in his two-Michelin-starred restaurant.
Ms Thomas, who is leader of the Burford, Bampton and Broadshires District Nursing Team and works in Carterton, was one of 6,700 people who work at the trust who were entered in the draw for a stay at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
The winner was chosen in a random draw.

The nurse, who will be travelling in style to Le Manoir in a chauffeur driven Porsche, said: “Wow, I never win anything. I’m so shocked and can’t wait to go.
"It’s so lovely that Oxford Health Charity and generous business have organised such prizes. It’s also been such a boost for everyone getting the charity care packs that are filled with donated items from the community too. Thank you.”
In donating the stay chef patron of Le Manoir Raymond Blanc said: “We are truly appreciative of the efforts and challenge this virus has put upon the teams across the trust and are delighted to be able to give the worthy winner a chance to be spoilt by us.
"We look forward to welcoming you soon.”
