TRAINS in Oxfordshire are to be prepared with a sanitising treatment which kills 99.99 per cent of virus and bacteria.
Great Western Railway (GWR) and South Western Railway trains will be trialling the treatment, a spray which builds to a fog that coats surfaces and is proven to fight against Covid-19 for up to 28 days.
The treatment is environmentally-friendly, and uses no alcohol or dangerous chemicals.
From Monday, it will be compulsory to wear face coverings on public transport and GWR asks that masks are worn.
