THESE two were the latest new recruits for Oxford City Police Force in 1960.
No, not the men – the two Alsatian dogs obediently sitting by their side.
The new dog recruits were guided by their handlers PC D Collett and PC G Cottrell, along with the city's Chief Constable, Clement Burrows.
