POLICE today appealed for information on two robberies in Oxford.
In one, a 27-year-old woman got out of her car and was walking towards a house when a man grabbed her bag.
They struggled and the man made off with the bag which contained cash and a mobile phone.
The robbery happened in Acacia Avenue, Blackbird Leys, at about 5.30pm on Thursday, November 15.
The man was about 5ft 5in tall, black, muscular, and was wearing a hooded top. He made off towards Tern Walk.
Police are also appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Fielden Grove, Headington, at 3pm on Monday.
A young man in a white Mercedes delivery van was stopped by a red car with a Polish number plate. Four men got out of the car and demanded a TV which was in the van. As they did so, another motorist stopped and the men got back in the car and fled.
Police are keen for this motorist to come forward to help their investigation.
