A section of the A34 northbound will be closed an entire weekend this month for resurfacing works.
The carriageway from the A423 Hinksey Hill junction to the A420 Botley Interchange will be shut from 9pm on Friday, June 19 to 6am on Monday, June 22.
All traffic will be routed via the Oxford ring road and access to North Hinksey and South Hinksey will be maintained via the A34 southbound carriageway only.

Highways England will be carrying out repairs to the road at South Hinksey to ensure the network is safe and in a 'serviceable condition.
The work will involve replacing all layers of the carriageway down to the foundations and placing the new surfacing in two separate layers.
It cannot be completed during an overnight closure because of the time needed for each layer to harden.
The southbound carriageway is unaffected by these works.
As delays are expected during this weekend closure, Highways England advises that people plan thier journey to allow extra time or avoid this route where possible.
Drivers should be aware that due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all work is subject to change due to available resources by its supply chain, as well as possible adverse weather conditions.
