Wheatley fire crews tackle open fire near Milton Common
A COUNTRYSIDE fire was abandoned smouldering when a crew from Wheatley Fire Station arrived at the scene of an incident near Milton Common on Tuesday afternoon.

A pile of rubbish was well alight but firefighters worked 'relentlessly' in the dry weather to get the flames under control and extinguished fully.
