A 24-year-old woman died in a car crash on the A40 near Wheatley last night.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision between a gold Fiat Punto and a green Peugeot 106, on the A40 westbound, close to the Oxford Services area at junction 8a of the M40.
The accident happened at about 11pm.
The woman driver of the Punto was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. Her identity has not yet been revealed.
The woman driving the Peugeot was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with minor injuries.
