A TEENAGER was arrested after a 55-year-old man was assaulted in a 15-people-brawl.
The fight that happened at around 8.15pm on Friday in the recreation ground off Alvescot Road, Carterton, where the victim had his head stamped on.
The man suffered facial injuries, including cuts and bruises, and required hospital treatment, but has since been discharged.
A 16-year-old boy from Carterton was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released under investigation since.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for witnesses of the incident.
Detective Sergeant Rob Hughes, based at Witney police station, said: "I am appealing for anybody who witnessed this incident or has captured mobile phone or other footage to please get in touch with police.
